Our son Frank dropped a little bit of a bomb on my wife and me last night. He told us that he has decided against going to college and is instead looking at other options.  I think my wife was more upset about it than I was because in all honesty I can’t blame the kid. For starters there was no way we could afford to help pay his tuition. He would have come out of college with a huge debt hanging over his head and probably wouldn’t have had a job lined up out of school. The job market today is rough and I don’t see it getting any better in 4 or 5 years. One thing he mentioned was looking into ultrasound tech programs and I think that sounded like a great idea. My wife will too once she calms down a little and I talk to her more about it.
